Summary: Day 1: San Jose Day 2 and 3: Abangaritos Day 4 – 6: Santa Teresa Day 7 and 8: Central Pacific Coast Day 9 and 10: Jaco Your adventure will begin in Alajuela, leading directly to the destination of your visit, the North Pacific coastline of Costa Rica. The country takes pride in a form of tourism that is both eco-friendly and socially sustainable, and this will be a key focus of your ten-day tour, along with experiencing the highlights of Costa Rica along this breath taking stretch of coastline. You’ll visit local rural communities, including an eco-farm in the Puntarenas Province on your first day, where you will immerse yourself in the culture of rural Costa Rica, learn how the farm operates, and discover how to prepare authentic Costa Rican cuisine. Next, you’ll make your way to the Ensenada Wildlife Refuge, a must-see on any wildlife holiday in Costa Rica, featuring stunning protected mangrove forests that offer some of the best birdwatching in the world, along with chances to see crocodiles and howler monkeys as you glide through the enchanting forests by boat. From surfing at the world-renowned Santa Teresa one day to soaring on a zip-wire through the humid air with the jungle canopy stretched out beneath you, you’ll find magical waterfalls, charming little towns, and breathtaking beaches all the way to Jaco, where your once-in-a-lifetime adventure concludes. In addition to the adrenaline-pumping activities, delicious food, and stunning scenery you will experience, this tour presents an opportunity to truly delve into the essence of Costa Rica and discover hidden gems off the tourist trail that you would otherwise miss. Roberto

I was born and raised in Costa Rica, and I have lived here my entire life. Ever since I was able to, I’ve been traveling the world. Soon after finishing school, I explored every part of Costa Rica! Although our country is relatively small, there’s an incredible amount to discover, and I’m still on that journey today. I seek out new hiking trails, lagoons, and viewpoints that lead to places I never knew existed. It truly is fascinating. Driven by my passion for discovery and exploring new places, I co-founded my immersive travel company with a friend over 18 years ago. Since then, I’ve had a wonderful time helping people discover my beautiful country and its neighboring countries! We select destinations that are different from those offered by other tour companies—places that are emerging or have a unique charm that most people are unaware of. We collaborate with local businesses that employ residents, and we choose sustainable hotels that positively impact their environment. We always ensure that our partners are committed to sustainability. It’s our mission to spread the benefits of tourism, ensuring that the revenue generated remains within local communities. This way, we can help develop and conserve these beautiful destinations for everyone to enjoy.
